I have called Montgomery County home for many years and have devoted my professional life to serving others. My career has included working as a licensed attorney, Board Certified in Residential Real Estate, a real estate broker, Municipal Judge for 22 years, business owner, college professor, and community volunteer. These experiences have taught me the value of integrity, fairness, and treating every person with respect. Whether in the courtroom, the classroom, or the community, I have always believed in listening, solving problems, and doing what is right. I would be honored to bring that same commitment and experience to the Montgomery County Appraisal District and serve the taxpayers of our county.

My Vision
My vision for the Montgomery County Appraisal District is simple: fair and accurate property values, transparency in the appraisal process, and accountability to the taxpayers we serve. Property owners deserve to know that their property is being appraised fairly and consistently, without unnecessary bureaucracy or favoritism. I want MCAD to be an organization that listens to taxpayers, responds to their concerns, and provides clear information about how property values are determined. With my experience as an attorney, Board Certified Residential Real Estate attorney, real estate broker, former municipal judge, and longtime community leader, I will bring knowledge, independence, integrity, and common sense to the position. My goal is to help build an Appraisal District that taxpayers can trust—one that protects property rights, operates efficiently, and treats every property owner with fairness and respect.
My Mission
My mission is to protect Montgomery County taxpayers by promoting fair, accurate, and equitable property appraisals while demanding transparency, accountability, and efficiency from the Appraisal District. I will use my decades of experience in law, real estate, the judiciary, and public service to ensure property owners are treated with respect and given a fair opportunity to be heard. I will work to make the appraisal process easier to understand, improve taxpayer service, and ensure that every property is valued according to the law—not politics, favoritism, or special interests. My commitment is to the taxpayers of Montgomery County and to an Appraisal District they can trust.
My Promise
My promise to the taxpayers of Montgomery County is simple: I will always put taxpayers first. I will bring honesty, integrity, experience, and common sense to the Montgomery County Appraisal District. I will work for fair and accurate property valuations, greater transparency, accountability, and responsive customer service. I will listen to property owners, respect their rights, and make decisions based on the law and the facts—not politics, favoritism, or special interests. You deserve an Appraisal District you can trust, and I will work every day to earn that trust.

Why Should You Vote for Me?
I am asking for your vote because experience matters when protecting your property rights and your tax dollars. I bring more than four decades of combined experience in law, real estate, public service, and education to Montgomery County Appraisal District Position 3.
I have been a licensed Texas attorney since 1989, Board Certified in Residential Real Estate Law, a Texas real estate broker, a former Municipal Judge for 22 years, a former title company owner, and an adjunct professor. I understand property law, real estate values, the legal system, and the challenges property owners face when dealing with government.
I will bring that experience to MCAD with independence, integrity, fairness, and common sense. I will listen to taxpayers, demand transparency, support accurate and equitable appraisals, and work to ensure property owners are treated fairly and respectfully.

Why I Am Running for the Appraisal Board

I am running for the Montgomery County Appraisal District Board because property owners deserve fairness. I will work to ensure that appraisals are accurate, fair, and supported by the law—and that taxpayers are treated with respect and given meaningful answers when they challenge their property values.
We need a new set of eyes and ears on this board, and that, along with my experience, is what I will provide.
